About the Iraqi Investors Association

A registered local NGO serving as the voice of investors in Iraq.

The Iraqi Investors Association is a non-governmental organization registered with the NGO Directorate of the Iraqi Council of Ministers under NGOs Law No. 12 of 2010. Our membership is composed of individual and institutional investors interested in investing in Iraq.

Founding Statement

The Iraqi Investors Association was established to unify Iraqi investors, represent their interests, and support sustainable economic development. We work to promote a fair and transparent investment environment, serve investors, and strengthen the role of the private sector in Iraq's economy.

A Bridge for Investment

We serve as a bridge between investors, the government, and the private sector, shaping a more favourable, transparent, and productive investment environment. Through advocacy, education, and direct engagement with policymakers, we work to remove barriers and unlock Iraq's economic potential.

Official Registration

The Association is registered as a local NGO with the General Secretariat for the Council of Ministers — NGO Directorate. Registration certificate No. 1DS2508020 was issued on 21 August 2025, granting the Association full legal standing to represent investor interests before government institutions.

Elected Leadership

The Administrative Board was elected on 3 July 2025 in Baghdad, in accordance with the Association's internal bylaws and founding documents.
